Welcome to our Called to Love: Egypt M site.
We have created this website and blog for a few purposes. We want to encourage the online community that God's work is not over as long as there are obedient and willing hearts. Second of all, we want this community to support and lift us up in prayer, as we present requests, ask for supplication or have thanksgiving. We will be posting about our thoughts, experiences and spiritual growth because it is the passion of our team to be held accountable to the body of Christ, to God and to ourselves; and we recognize that God calls us to be this way.
Please leave your thoughts and responses in the Comments section of each of our blogs.

Our journey in Egypt is over, but our hearts for it are not!
Back in HK and back at work, but my heart is still in Egypt. This trip really felt like as it was too soon to be over. There was me thinking, whoo, I'm gonna be away from home for so long before I went. But in this trip, I realised I'm not that attached to Hong Kong or anywhere. I'm more attached to the people I encounter, the things I have been doing and the closeness with God.
I realise this closeness should not only bound to my trip in Egypt, it should be everyday I walk with God. In this trip I felt I hardly served, it was all taking in. I've learned so much and saw so much. In our last reflection and sharing session the song that kept ringing in my head was 'I stand in awe of You'. There was no one word could describe my feeling right now! The feeling of unfinishness will keep me praying for Egpyt!
The things we did, the people we will missed the other team members have pretty much described it. Everything have just tattooed in my heart and mind. I have experienced hardship (walking up to Mount Sinai), I have experienced joy (pretty much every day), I have experienced tears (visiting the orphanage and the primary school) "Break my heart from what breaks yours". In the mist of all this emotions, I can really experience God's presence with us and how we may fail, but He never does. He will still use our failures to do more. So even when we think we should have done better or we've messed something up, but not in God eyes. It's not by our strength, but by His might!
Father, now that I'm back in Hong Kong, please help me not let this mission trip experience go to waste. Help me to continue to apply the things I've learnt in my life in HK. Help me to seek you always, help me to rely on Your strength rather than my own. Help me to always be humble and sensitive to Your Holy voice.
Thanks for answering all my prayers, I know I still have a long way to go to be more like Jesus. Lord, please continue to mold me, make me and transform me. Help me to always to feel content as you have given me more than I can ever ask for.
Love you Lord!
