Second day in Egypt.

So far, the trip has been blessed. Already, I feel I have received more than I prayed for.

The reason I signed up for this m trip was because I wanted God's passion again. I remember the first time I went on m, I came back with a deep yearning for missions. With time, that feeling was diluted. I prayed that God would give me that yearning again. The yearning to be used by Him to reach His people. I want to be able to love as He loves again.

Yesterday, we went to the local market. We spotted many differences b/w the local culture and ours. What's stayed with me the most, however, is the smile of the people. A smile that's so wide and so genuine. You rarely get that from a stranger in HK. I could see why God would love these people so much. I could see why God would yearn for them to be saved. So I thank God, for I feel He's opening up my heart for His people again.


Heavenly Father,

Thank you that we were all created in Your image and through Your love, we're all connected. We pray for our m' friends today. We pray that they will see you and know you for who You are - a God who is just, a God who loved them to the point of death. Use us today Lord, to reflect Your perfect love.
